Brooklyn’s Dreamers are having another event! This time it is in the BAM Cultural District. One of the goals of Brooklyn’s Dreamers is to collaborate with other Brooklyn arts organizations. This keeps Dreamers in touch with what is happening in the borough and in the Cultural District. On November 29th, Brooklyn’s Dreamers will collaborate with MoCADA, The Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts, to host a Gallery Party for members and friends of both organizations. This will be a wonderful chance to meet Brooklyn- and arts-centric people.
Save the date: November 29th, 6pm. Advance tickets: $20, at the door: $25. Please visit www.tfana.org/brooklynsdreamers to buy tickets.
Currently on display at MoCADA is “Middle Passage: White Ships, Black Cargo,” drawings by Tom Feelings. For more information on the Gallery Party, please contact Abigail at 212 229 2819 x 25 or [email protected]. For more information on MoCADA, please visit their website: www.mocada.org
