On Monday, November 10, Theatre for a New Audience participated in “An Evening of Dostoevsky: The Grand Inquisitor” at the Unterberg Poetry Center at the 92nd Street Y.
Bruce Myers, long-time Peter Brook collaborator and actor in the Theatre’s recent presentation of The Grand Inquisitor, read scenes and participated in a discussion of the play with the Theatre’s Founding Artistic Director Jeffrey Horowitz and Dostoyevsky scholar and Columbia professor Robert Belknap. 500 people attended the event, which was the Theatre’s third with the Center.
Mark your calendars and join us on Monday, March 23, 2009, when the Poetry Center will present “An Evening of Shakespeare: Hamlet” in conjunction with our spring production of the play.
