Theatre for a New Audience is thrilled to announce that we are the recipients of a $900,000 grant from The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
This grant, for the current season and the following two seasons, will support the Theatre’s operating budget and its work with our affiliated artists, including Arin Arbus (Resident Director), Andrew Wade (Resident Director for Voice) and Jonathan Kalb (Resident Literary Advisor, Dramaturg and Scholar). The grant will also support ambitious new productions for the current season through the Theatre’s first season in our new home in 2013.
In addition, the grant will support artist development workshops led by masters such as Andrew Wade, Robert Neff Williams and Peter Brook, as well as production-specific workshops that will help artists develop work for future seasons.
